The project provides two-way transport capacity of 1.5 billion cubic meters per year to / from Bulgaria, and 4.4 billion cubic meters per year to / from Hungary.
On the Romanian territory, BRUA consists of the construction of a new pipeline with a total length of 550 km on the route
Giurgiu-Podisor-Corbu-Hurezani-Hateg-Recas-Horia, and three Gas Compression Stations located at Podisor, Bibesti and Jupa.
